This is fantastic! The puzzle quilt zine looks particularly amazing: I’ve never heard of a puzzle quilt (and I’ve been variously obsessed with Victoriana for many years). I’m also one who needs physical dummies for any kind of book that requires folding; it’s such a great way to visualize and plan.

Thanks for the behind the scenes visit and GIFs! Very inspiring 👏👏 👏

There is no substitute for having the physical thing to work through your thinking with! I really enjoyed this on puzzle purses which has some gorgeous Victorian examples: https://louisamayalcott.org/virtual-valentine

I was so excited to read this content on Substack. Thanks for sharing your process. I've never created a zine, bit I've received some in the past and I absolutely love them. It makes me happy and joyful to immerse myself in others' creativity. And it makes me want to be more creative too.

If you want to make one you totally should! They have endless possibilities and you can start really small, but still get that satisfaction having made something. Warning - once you start you'll just make more and more and more!

Thank you so much for sharing your process Natalie! I make zines for the participants of workshops I run, but I've never thought to make them as newsletters. I think what you're doing is brilliant!

And the custom stamp is such a nice addition! I think I will steal that idea and make a custom stamp to put my logo on the next set I make ☺️

Thank you again for taking the time to write up your process and sharing it 🙏

Thanks Sophie! I highly recommend the stamp, it makes something digitally printed feel a bit handmade again plus it is just so fun to use!
