Dear reader,
It’s holiday season. For me, at least me as a child, that meant one thing and one thing only - pebble hunting.
So as the sun has come out and I’ve started to pack my bags for a few trips, I’ve been reflecting on the souvenirs that shaped my early years after some recent revelations.
I had a lot of fun playing with mini-pages and some new features in this newsletter’s physical zine. If you want to pick up a copy to support this newsletter and the National Literacy Trust for yourself or the pebble hunter in your life, they’re in my store now.
Happy pebble spotting!
Write/draw again soon,
Natalie
This was a fabulous read. I enjoyed it very much. I didn't know it was illegal to remove rocks and pebbles from the beach. When I was in high school we lived across the hill from a rock quarry, and I would always walk up that hill searching for pretty rocks with green, white, and red colors in it.
